Hafan Pwllheli Marina

Situated on the south side of the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales, the Hafan Pwllheli marina gives access to some of the best sailing waters in the UK - including Cardigan Bay, Anglesey and the harbours along Ireland's east coast. While yachtsmen cruising the peninsula hone their sailing skills, Cardigan Bay has also become increasingly popular with motor cruisers relocating to the area following introduction of speed restrictions in the Lake District.

Hafan Pwllheli is certainly a big draw in the area, evidenced by the growth in the number of berths since the marina opened in April 1991 with mooring for 285 vessels. Now, the marina has 420 pontoon berths - and could easily fill another 300 or so, such is the demand for mooring facilities.
