Who should attend? Anyone who wants to maximise XL Reporter’s capability to report on business critical information. Whether you simply want to use the drag and drop functionality in Composer or the more advanced features of the Designer, then this training workshop will help you.

10.00 am - Composer
In Report Composer, you can create reports and custom queries on live data in SAP Business One with only a few mouse clicks. Drill down on data to see underlying transaction rows. Use Report Composer as a starting point for creating Microsoft Excel reports.
10.45 am - Coffee Break
11.00 am – Designer
Report Designer combines XL Reporter with the standard Excel interface and functions to facilitate more advanced, yet user-friendly, report design and layout. As with Report Composer, you can access live data in SAP Business One.
11.45 am - Manager
Report Manager is an archive in which you create, administer, and manage XL Reporter items such as report definitions, reports, report books, and more. You can schedule the times when reports are refreshed, package them into compound report books, and distribute them by email (including non SAP Business One users). Create a custom folder structure that aligns with your customer's business view.
12.15 am - Free Training Material
We will provide some free training material to take away with you, this is aimed at helping you to continue your training and use of XL Reporter once you are back in the office. You will receive sample reports for XL Reporter that you can download and import into the Report Manager. You will also receive a recorded training session for you to refer back to if needed.
12.30 pm - Q&A
12.45 pm - Advanced Excel Reporting from Blue Valleys- Access data from multiple databases
- Link SAP tables together to create a new virtual table
- Modify, delete or add new (calculated) fields into the new virtual table
- Select fields that you want to report on regularly and filter the data in to a
reporting cube.
